Arsema Teka

Outreach Volunteer

Arsema is a recent Psychology graduate with a strong interest in research, psychodynamic therapy and making mental health care more accessible. She was drawn to the Centre for Psychodynamic Insights because she values the approach of taking time to explore the deeper, often unconscious roots of emotional struggles. She believes that understanding the root causes of behavior is foundational for meaningful, lasting change, and is excited to support a clinic that focuses on this method. In this role, she is looking forward to supporting outreach, research, and growth initiatives that help expand the clinic’s reach. She is especially interested in how the behind-the-scenes systems like community networking, funding research, and digital visibility can directly improve the accessibility and effectiveness of therapy. Outside of school and work, she tends to jump from hobby to hobby—her current one is reading psychological thrillers, which is pretty on brand.
