Group Peer Supervision
What Are Peer Supervisions?
Peer supervisions are offered individually or in groups to professionals practicing the controlled act of psychotherapy or working towards their registrations. This includes, but not limited to, Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying), and Social Workers. Peer supervision meetings can be on regulatory, ethical, or therapeutic topics within the scope of psychodynamic psychotherapy. While peer supervision is not considered an acceptable form of supervision for the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)’s clinical supervision requirements, it offers many advantages to clinicians.
