Registered Psychotherapist
In both my professional and personal life, I’m drawn to connecting with people. As a Registered Psychotherapist, I value the depth of interaction that comes from truly understanding another’s experience. Whether I’m working with patients, chatting with someone in the community, or volunteering, care and meaningful connection remain central to who I am. I’m quick-witted, eco-conscious, and enjoy spending time in nature with family and friends. I also have a passion for horseback riding!
In my psychotherapy practice, I work to deeply understand the patient’s personal narrative and develop a strong therapeutic alliance. I interweave creative and experiential approaches such as somatic awareness, myth, movement, and dreamwork so the patient can attain a deeper understanding of their unconscious dynamics and interior life. These modalities support patients to step out of the daily constructs of life and engage their challenges in a more intuitive, embodied way. I’m continually inspired by each patient’s inner world and the unique blending of varying techniques that allows me to meet them with flexibility and empathic attunement. I see every experience in life as an opportunity to grow in deeper self-understanding and a more meaningful connection with others.

Sessions with Ann
Patients can expect a creative and collaborative experience when working with me. I strive to understand your lived experience and how it shapes the challenges you are facing today. My approach is grounded in Jungian, somatic, and psychodynamic principles, integrating the exploration of the felt sense, dreams, myth, and movement in a way that is tailored to your individual needs.
I offer a unique lens for understanding experiences such as depression, anxiety, anger, and procrastination—helping you gain insight to shift from reactive patterns to more thoughtful, responsive ways of engaging in your life and challenges. Intense emotional reactions often signal underlying distortions in bonding patterns, rooted in early relational experiences. Together, we explore these experiences, bringing unconscious material into awareness. This process supports individuation and empowers you to make conscious, adult choices that align with who you are today.
The ultimate goal is for patients to develop a lasting internal dialogue that empowers them to make conscious, meaningful choices long after formal therapy has ended.
