Anna Nguyễn

Community Outreach Assistant

I have always been fascinated by the psychodynamic approach to understanding human behaviour. CFPI’s mission to provide insight-oriented care really resonates with me, and I wanted to support an organization that values depth in mental health. I am eager to understand how a specialized mental health clinic operates and how community outreach plays a vital role in connecting services with the broader healthcare network. My background is in Business Administration, which has equipped me with strong organizational skills—essential for maintaining our provider network. Currently, I am taking psychology courses at TMU to prepare for a bridging pathway into the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program. I am particularly interested in how community outreach can bridge the gap between mental health services and vulnerable populations. I am a ‘silent observer’ who loves connecting with people through written chat. I find that people often feel more comfortable letting their true emotions and thoughts unfold clearly through their words when communicating this way.
