Dr. Britta Boekamp, Clinical Psychologist

Associate Psychologist

Dr. Boekamp is a clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments. She obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2015 and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. With over 14 years of clinical experience across community mental health centers, college counseling, substance abuse facilities, and private practice, Dr. Boekamp brings a depth of systemic and relational understanding to the evaluation process. She is licensed to provide psychological services in Ontario, Minnesota and Florida.

Dr. Boekamp conducts in-depth evaluations for a wide range of presentations, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), trauma, anxiety, depression, and severe mood or psychotic disorders, as well as evaluations for school and workplace accommodations. Approaching assessments through a psychodynamic and systemic lens, she values the profound clarity individuals achieve when exploring their cognitive and emotional profiles. She strives to help clients develop a cohesive understanding of their unique internal dynamics, strengths, and vulnerabilities within the broader context of their educational, occupational, familial, and societal systems.

Sessions with Britta

In the assessment space, my primary goal is to cultivate a deeply safe, non-judgemental, and neuro-affirming environment. I approach each evaluation with genuine curiousity about your unique internal world, relational patterns, and lived experience. Rather than viewing an assessment as a rigid inventory of symptoms, I view it as a collaborative exploration of how your mind works and how you navigate the world. Together, we will move through the testing process at a pace that feels supportive, ensuring that you feel seen, heard, and respected. The ultimate aim of our sessions is to translate complex psychological data into a meaningful, empowering narrative that honours your neurodivergence and provides a clear, compassionate roadmap for accommodations, support, and deeper self-understanding.
